Senior leader shaping the digital backbone for downstream and renewables, driving enterprise‑wide architecture strategy across lubricants, customer operations, low‑carbon solutions and CRM using cloud, microservices and API‑centric design.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and govern the enterprise architecture roadmap for Global Lubricants, Customer Operations, Low Carbon Solutions and CRM, ensuring alignment with business strategy and regulatory requirements.
- Lead cross‑functional architecture teams to design cloud‑native, micro‑service and API‑first solutions that enable scalable, secure and resilient digital platforms.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to translate business needs into technical blueprints, reference models and standards across the Downstream & Renewables portfolio.
- Champion the adoption of modern infrastructure technologies such as Kubernetes, container orchestration and serverless services on AWS/Azure.
- Provide architectural governance, conduct reviews, and mentor architects to maintain consistency, quality and compliance across all solution domains.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, with a proven track record of leading large‑scale digital transformation programs in the energy or related sectors.
- Deep expertise in TOGAF or equivalent framework, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), micro‑services, API management and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Strong strategic thinking and communication skills, able to influence senior business leaders and technical teams.
- Demonstrated ability to design end‑to‑end solutions that balance performance, security, scalability and cost.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified Kubernetes Administrator) are highly desirable.
