Lead the Integrated Product Team for advanced defense systems, driving architecture, requirements, and verification using C++, Python, and model‑based engineering while ensuring compliance with DoD security and Agile processes.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own system architecture and integration strategy for high‑impact defense programs.
- Lead cross‑functional IPTs, coordinating hardware, software, and test teams to meet performance and schedule goals.
- Develop and maintain model‑based system designs, requirements traceability, and verification plans.
- Drive Agile practices, sprint planning, and continuous integration to accelerate development cycles.
- Ensure compliance with security, safety, and regulatory standards, including Secret clearance requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field; 12+ years of systems engineering experience.
- Proficiency in C++ and Python for simulation, tooling, and automation.
- Extensive experience with Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and methodologies.
- Demonstrated leadership of large, multi‑disciplinary IPTs in a DoD or aerospace environment.
- Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one; willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
