About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the conceptual, detailed, and verification phases of structural engineering projects for aerospace systems.
- Develop and execute finite element models using ANSYS or equivalent tools to assess strength, stiffness, and durability.
- Create and review 3D CAD models and drawings (SolidWorks, CATIA) to ensure manufacturability and compliance with design specifications.
- Perform analytical studies with MATLAB or similar environments to support design decisions and optimization.
- Mentor junior engineers, provide technical guidance, and drive best‑practice standards across the team.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional groups (materials, manufacturing, testing) to integrate structural solutions into overall product development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Structural Engineering with 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Proven expertise in finite element analysis and structural design for aerospace applications.
- Advanced proficiency with ANSYS, MATLAB, and CAD platforms such as SolidWorks or CATIA.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, ability to lead multi‑disciplinary teams, and excellent communication abilities.
