Software Engineer
Lead the technical strategy for AI‑driven raw‑data reconstruction across MRI, CT, and PET modalities, building GPU‑accelerated platforms and standards that enable an ecosystem of advanced medical imaging solutions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the technical roadmap for raw‑to‑insights AI and signal‑processing pipelines across multiple imaging modalities (MRI k‑space, CT projections, PET list‑mode).
- Architect and implement high‑performance GPU‑accelerated reconstruction algorithms using CUDA, C++, and Python.
- Establish platform standards, APIs, and reference implementations that enable internal teams and external partners to build on the imaging stack.
- Collaborate with research scientists to integrate state‑of‑the‑art deep‑learning models for acquisition optimization and image reconstruction.
- Mentor senior engineers, drive best practices in software quality, performance profiling, and scalability.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in high‑performance computing, GPU programming (CUDA) and C++/Python development.
- Deep expertise in medical imaging reconstruction, signal processing, and AI/ML applied to raw acquisition data.
- Proven track record delivering production‑grade, GPU‑accelerated software for imaging or related domains.
- Strong understanding of MRI, CT, PET data formats and acquisition physics.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and leadership skills to influence cross‑functional teams.
