About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and lead the end‑to‑end development of fiber optic transceiver products, from concept through production.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate optical, RF, and semiconductor components into robust, high‑speed modules.
- Define and execute rigorous test plans, ensuring compliance with industry standards and reliability targets.
- Drive continuous improvement of design processes, tooling, and manufacturing support to accelerate time‑to‑market.
- Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in fiber optic or high‑speed optical communication system design.
- Deep expertise in RF engineering, semiconductor device physics, and PCB layout for high‑frequency applications.
- Proficiency with optical test equipment (OSA, BER analyzers, eye diagram tools) and simulation tools (OptiSystem, ADS).
- Strong problem‑solving skills and a track record of delivering complex, mission‑critical products.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with experience mentoring engineering teams.
