Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure cloud storage solutions on Azure, driving architecture, performance, and reliability for enterprise data workloads.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and deliver high‑availability Azure Blob Storage solutions that meet performance, security, and compliance requirements.
- Lead cross‑functional teams in designing data ingestion, lifecycle management, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Evaluate and integrate emerging storage technologies, ensuring optimal cost and scalability.
- Mentor engineers, establish best practices, and conduct code reviews to maintain architectural integrity.
- Collaborate with security, networking, and DevOps to enforce governance and automation across the storage stack.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in cloud storage architecture, with deep expertise in Azure Blob Storage.
- Proven track record designing large‑scale, multi‑tenant storage solutions in production environments.
- Strong knowledge of data protection, encryption, and compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with IaC (Terraform, ARM), CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools.
