Software Engineer

We're looking for a Software Engineer focused on designing and building scalable technical solutions. This lead role requires 9+ years of relevant experience.

Minimum qualifications:

15 years of experience in SaaS web applications architecture and building systems.
10 years of experience engineering and operating data-focused systems (e.g., PowerBI, Looker, Tableau, etc.).
10 years of experience driving product innovations and technical roadmaps across stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
Experience balancing legacy migrations and greenfield development.
Experience in business intelligence, reporting/dashboarding, and embedded analytics.
Experience interacting with customers to represent the team and the organization.
Understanding of the technology involved in analytics (e.g., ETL, data governance, BI tools).

Responsibilities

Work closely with our strategic customers to understand their challenges and co-develop our AI-first roadmap.
Partner with other C-level leaders in defining strategy and shaping our investment portfolio.
Influence thought leaders across Google Cloud (e.g. Vertex AI) and Google (e.g., Google AI, DeepMind) to align roadmaps and leverage the best of Google's technology.
