About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement high‑reliability embedded firmware for complex systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and mission requirements.
- Collaborate with hardware teams to define interfaces, perform signal integrity analysis, and validate board‑level designs.
- Lead code reviews, performance profiling, and root‑cause analysis to maintain optimal system stability and safety.
- Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
- Drive integration of new technologies (e.g., automotive Ethernet, CAN, LIN) into existing product lines.
Requirements
- 10+ years of embedded systems experience, with a proven track record in C/C++ and RTOS environments.
- Deep knowledge of hardware design, PCB layout, and signal integrity.
- Strong debugging skills using JTAG, logic analyzers, and software tools.
- Experience with automotive or aerospace safety standards (ISO 26262, DO-178C).
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities in a cross‑functional team setting.
