Lead design and development of high‑reliability embedded firmware for aerospace systems, leveraging C/C++, RTOS, and AUTOSAR to deliver mission‑critical software that meets stringent safety and performance standards.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement complex embedded software solutions for aerospace propulsion and control systems.
- Lead cross‑functional teams in the design, coding, and verification of firmware using C, C++, and RTOS environments.
- Apply AUTOSAR standards and safety‑critical development practices to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews, static analysis, and unit/integration testing to maintain high code quality.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to define interfaces, perform hardware‑software integration, and troubleshoot embedded hardware issues.
Requirements
- 10+ years of embedded software experience in aerospace or defense sectors.
- Deep expertise in C/C++, RTOS, and AUTOSAR development.
- Strong background in safety‑critical software processes (DO-178C, ISO 26262).
- Proven leadership in mentoring junior engineers and driving technical direction.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, mission‑critical environment.
