About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and oversee the end‑to‑end development of high‑performance signal acquisition hardware and firmware for non‑invasive cardiology devices.
- Lead cross‑functional teams in implementing robust signal processing algorithms to achieve 10x deeper oxygenation measurement accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with medical device regulations (FDA, ISO 13485) through rigorous design reviews, risk management, and documentation.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with research scientists to translate electrophysiological insights into product features and clinical studies.
Requirements
- 10+ years of electrical engineering experience in medical device or high‑performance signal acquisition.
- Proficiency in embedded C/C++, FPGA design, and real‑time operating systems.
- Deep knowledge of biomedical signal processing, including pulse oximetry and electrophysiology.
- Experience leading design reviews, risk assessments, and regulatory submissions.
- Strong communication skills and a proven track record of mentoring engineering teams.
