Software Engineer
Lead the design and integration of high‑performance electrical subsystems for unmanned aerial platforms, driving rapid prototyping, rigorous testing, and scalable production using power electronics, RF, and embedded software.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and validate power distribution and propulsion electronics for advanced drone platforms.
- Design high‑frequency RF and sensor front‑ends, ensuring electromagnetic compatibility and performance under combat conditions.
- Create and iterate multi‑layer PCB layouts, perform schematic capture, and oversee manufacturing hand‑offs.
- Develop embedded firmware in C/C++ for real‑time control, telemetry, and safety-critical functions.
- Lead cross‑functional teams through rapid prototyping cycles, from concept through flight testing and low‑rate production.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical Engineering or related field with 8+ years of hands‑on experience in power electronics, RF, or embedded systems.
- Proven expertise in PCB design tools (Altium, Mentor, or similar) and high‑speed signal integrity analysis.
- Strong programming skills in C/C++ for real‑time embedded platforms; familiarity with RTOS environments.
- Experience with high‑power converters, motor drives, and energy‑storage integration for UAVs.
- Ability to thrive in fast‑paced, mission‑critical environments, taking extreme ownership and delivering functional hardware within tight timelines.
