About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, prototype, and deploy large‑scale generative models for language and multimodal tasks, focusing on fine‑tuning and domain adaptation.
- Develop end‑to‑end pipelines for structured data extraction from documents, integrating vision, text, and audio modalities.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into AI solutions that enhance manufacturing workflows.
- Conduct rigorous experimentation, benchmark new models, and publish findings to internal and external audiences.
- Mentor junior data scientists and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Requirements
- PhD or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field.
- Extensive experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow) and large‑scale model training.
- Proven track record in fine‑tuning LLMs, multimodal model development, and structured data extraction.
- Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with cloud AI services (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
