Lead complex AI/ML initiatives to enhance guest experiences, designing and deploying production‑ready models, mentoring teams, and collaborating cross‑functionally to turn business goals into scalable data science solutions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and lead end‑to‑end AI/ML projects, from problem definition through model design, training, validation, and production deployment.
- Partner with product, engineering, and analytics teams to translate business requirements into scalable data pipelines and predictive solutions.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to data scientists, engineers, and analysts, fostering best practices in model development and MLOps.
- Design and implement robust data infrastructure using tools such as Spark, SQL, and AWS services to support large‑scale model training and inference.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and research advancements, integrating state‑of‑the‑art techniques like deep learning, reinforcement learning, and generative AI where appropriate.
Requirements
- 10+ years of hands‑on experience in machine learning, deep learning, and statistical modeling, with a proven track record of delivering production‑grade solutions.
- Expertise in Python and major ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit‑learn) and strong SQL/data‑engineering skills.
- Extensive experience deploying models on cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and implementing MLOps pipelines.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams, communicate complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders, and mentor junior talent.
- Advanced degree (Ph.D. or Master’s) in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
