About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, prototype, and deploy cutting‑edge AI/ML models to address complex national security challenges.
- Collaborate with engineers, researchers, and stakeholders to translate mission requirements into data‑driven solutions.
- Lead research initiatives, publishing findings and contributing to the organization’s technical knowledge base.
- Mentor junior data scientists and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Ensure compliance with security protocols and data governance standards throughout the model lifecycle.
Requirements
- PhD or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field.
- Extensive experience with Python, deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), and large‑scale data pipelines.
- Proven track record of delivering production‑ready ML solutions in regulated or high‑security environments.
- Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
- Experience working in Agile teams and leading cross‑functional projects.
