About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable, high‑performance data pipelines in Snowflake, leveraging dbt for transformation and version control.
- Design and enforce robust CI/CD workflows for data models, ensuring rapid, reliable deployments.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and product teams to translate business requirements into efficient data solutions.
- Optimize query performance, storage costs, and data freshness across the platform.
- Mentor and lead a team of data engineers, fostering best practices and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering with deep expertise in Snowflake and dbt.
- Proven track record of building production‑grade data pipelines and managing large data volumes.
- Strong knowledge of cloud data services (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and modern DevOps practices.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with performance tuning, cost optimization, and data governance.
