About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise‑wide data governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance.
- Architect robust information models and metadata frameworks that support scalable data integration and analytics.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define data ownership, stewardship, and lifecycle management.
- Drive adoption of data governance tools and practices, providing training and guidance to cross‑functional teams.
- Monitor regulatory requirements and industry best practices, translating them into actionable governance controls.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data architecture, governance, or related roles within large enterprises.
- Deep knowledge of data modeling, metadata management, and data quality frameworks.
- Proven track record of implementing enterprise data governance programs that meet regulatory and compliance standards.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with data governance platforms (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Alation) and data cataloging tools is a plus.
