Data Engineer
Lead the design, build, and optimization of a modern cloud‑based data platform, driving scalable pipelines, ETL/ELT solutions, and data architecture standards to support enterprise analytics and business initiatives.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines that support enterprise reporting, analytics, and business applications.
- Build and optimize ETL/ELT solutions using modern cloud‑based technologies, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Define and enforce data architecture standards, best practices, and governance across the organization.
- Mentor and lead a team of data engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust data solutions.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in data engineering, with a strong background in Python, SQL, and cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Proven track record of designing and deploying large‑scale ETL/ELT pipelines and data architectures.
- Deep understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance principles.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to mentor junior engineers.
- Experience with modern data tools (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, dbt) is a plus.
