About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect end‑to‑end data solutions, integrating cloud (AWS, Azure) and on‑prem platforms to support analytics, AI, and operational workloads.
- Design and implement scalable data models, data lakes, and ETL pipelines that meet performance, security, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications and prototypes.
- Lead migration of legacy systems, ensuring data integrity, minimal downtime, and alignment with modern security standards.
- Mentor and coach cross‑functional teams, fostering best practices in data governance, architecture, and DevOps.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data architecture, with a strong background in cloud and on‑prem environments.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and modern data engineering tools (e.g., Spark, Airflow).
- Deep knowledge of AWS and Azure services, including data lake, analytics, and AI offerings.
- Experience designing and deploying data models, ETL pipelines, and data governance frameworks.
- Strong communication skills and a proven ability to influence technical direction across large organizations.
