About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the enterprise data architecture, ensuring alignment with business strategy and technology roadmaps.
- Lead design of real‑time ingestion pipelines, data lake structures, and downstream analytics solutions on AWS.
- Champion data quality, governance, and security standards across the data lifecycle.
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to build consensus on architectural decisions.
- Mentor and influence cross‑disciplinary teams, raising the architectural bar and fostering best practices.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data architecture, with a proven track record in large‑scale, complex data transformation projects.
- Deep expertise in Python, SQL, AWS services (S3, Redshift, Glue, Athena), and Big Data ecosystems (Spark, Kafka).
- Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL design, and data governance frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills, able to translate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience leading architectural reviews and driving technical standards in a multi‑disciplinary environment.
