Software Engineer
Lead the design and delivery of cloud‑native data platforms on GCP, driving data modeling, warehousing, and advanced analytics solutions for enterprise clients.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement end‑to‑end data solutions on Google Cloud Platform, including BigQuery, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub.
- Define data models, data‑warehouse schemas, and ETL pipelines that meet performance, scalability, and security requirements.
- Collaborate with client stakeholders and cross‑functional teams to translate business needs into technical specifications and roadmaps.
- Guide and mentor engineering teams on best practices for data ingestion, transformation, and governance.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and propose innovative approaches to enhance analytics and machine‑learning capabilities.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience designing and delivering large‑scale data platforms, preferably in a consulting or enterprise environment.
- Deep expertise with Google Cloud services (BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Composer, Pub/Sub) and modern data‑warehouse concepts.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and programming languages such as Python for building ETL pipelines and data‑processing workflows.
- Proven track record of data modeling, schema design, and implementing robust data governance frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to lead technical discussions with senior business stakeholders.
