Lead end‑to‑end data architecture for General, Commercial, and Digital Banking, defining target‑state models, integration patterns, metadata lineage, and enterprise data platform adoption across customer, transaction, and operational domains.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and drive the target‑state data architecture for multiple banking domains, ensuring alignment with business strategy and regulatory requirements.
- Design integration and data flow patterns across customer, account, product, transaction, lending, payments, and digital engagement systems.
- Establish metadata management, data lineage, and data governance standards to support high‑quality, trusted data assets.
- Guide the adoption of enterprise data platforms and cloud services, recommending optimal technologies and deployment models.
- Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and business teams to create domain‑aligned data products and enable self‑service analytics.
- Mentor and influence technical teams on best practices in data modeling, ETL design, and data security.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, and enterprise data platform design, preferably in banking or financial services.
- Deep expertise in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data stack technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, or Redshift.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and ETL/ELT processes, with hands‑on experience building scalable data pipelines.
- Demonstrated knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to influence cross‑functional stakeholders and drive architectural decisions.
