Key Responsibilities
- Lead cyber systems engineering for large‑scale missile defense programs, ensuring secure integration of cyber‑enabled capabilities into advanced Ground Weapon Systems.
- Design, develop, and validate automation frameworks that streamline testing, deployment, and sustainment of cyber components.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate cybersecurity controls, perform risk assessments, and implement mitigation strategies across the system lifecycle.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering staff, fostering best practices in secure design and implementation.
- Maintain and enhance documentation, configuration management, and compliance artifacts to meet Missile Defense Agency requirements.
Requirements
- Senior‑level experience in cyber systems engineering within defense or aerospace environments.
- Proficiency in systems integration, automation scripting (Python, Bash), and cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, DoD STIG).
- Strong knowledge of missile defense architecture and Ground Weapon System operations.
- Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a mission‑critical setting.
