About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, analysis, and implementation of HVAC, fire suppression, and environmental control systems for critical data‑center infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain reliability and safety models, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate mechanical solutions with electrical, civil, and IT systems, driving performance and cost efficiencies.
- Conduct thermal and airflow simulations, leveraging CFD and other advanced tools to optimize system performance and energy consumption.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in data‑center mechanical design, with a focus on critical environment systems.
- Proficiency in HVAC design, structural analysis, and reliability engineering methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, fire protection, and environmental compliance.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a global, multidisciplinary environment.
