About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and evaluate large‑scale data science solutions to support policy research and evidence generation.
- Apply advanced statistical and machine learning methods in Python and R to analyze complex datasets and uncover actionable insights.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and national stakeholders to translate analytical findings into policy recommendations.
- Develop reproducible data pipelines, dashboards, and visualizations using SQL, Python, and BI tools.
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to methodological capacity building within the organization.
Requirements
- PhD or equivalent experience in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
- Proven expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, and data engineering.
- Strong programming skills in Python and R, with experience in SQL and data visualization.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with policy makers and stakeholders.
- Experience working in international development or public policy contexts is highly desirable.
