Devops Engineer
Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of multi‑cloud solutions for federal customers, driving architecture excellence with AWS, Azure, Terraform, Kubernetes, and automation using Python and CI/CD pipelines.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and maintain secure, scalable cloud environments across AWS and Azure for US Federal workloads.
- Define and enforce cloud governance, compliance, and security standards in line with federal regulations.
- Lead infrastructure‑as‑code initiatives using Terraform, automating provisioning and lifecycle management.
- Design and operate containerized platforms with Kubernetes, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation scripts in Python to accelerate delivery cycles.
- Mentor engineering teams, conduct technical reviews, and drive best‑practice adoption across the organization.
Requirements
- 10+ years of hands‑on experience designing and operating large‑scale cloud solutions, preferably in a federal or highly regulated environment.
- Deep expertise with AWS and Azure services, including networking, storage, compute, and security controls.
- Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure‑as‑code and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
- Strong programming/scripting skills in Python and experience building CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams, influence architecture decisions, and communicate complex concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
