Lead the design and implementation of secure cloud solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP, driving threat modeling, risk assessment, and compliance for high‑impact national projects.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and oversee secure cloud deployments for federal clients, ensuring alignment with national security standards.
- Lead threat modeling, risk assessments, and security architecture reviews across multi‑cloud environments.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
- Develop and maintain security policies, incident response plans, and compliance frameworks for cloud services.
- Mentor and guide junior architects and engineers on secure design principles and emerging cloud security technologies.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in cloud security architecture, with deep expertise in AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Proven track record designing secure, scalable solutions for high‑stakes government or defense projects.
- Strong knowledge of threat modeling, risk assessment, and security controls (NIST, ISO 27001, FedRAMP).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex security concepts to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
