About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and oversee secure cloud deployments across AWS, Azure, and GCP, ensuring compliance with federal security standards.
- Conduct threat modeling, risk assessments, and security architecture reviews for high‑impact projects.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering and security staff on secure design principles.
- Develop and maintain security documentation, architecture diagrams, and incident response playbooks.
Requirements
- Extensive experience designing secure cloud architectures for government or regulated environments.
- Deep knowledge of cloud security services, IAM, encryption, and network segmentation.
- Strong analytical skills with proven ability to perform threat modeling and risk assessments.
- Excellent communication skills for translating complex security concepts to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one within 90 days.
