As a Principal CAD Engineer, Central Engineering, you will lead the design and development of complex products using CAD software and programming languages. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure design integrity and product quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex CAD models and assemblies using Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, and CATIA.
- Write Python scripts to automate design tasks and improve productivity.
- Collaborate with product development teams to ensure design meets product requirements and specifications.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and designers.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to improve design and development processes.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in CAD design and development.
- Strong knowledge of CAD software, including Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, and CATIA.
- Proficient in Python programming language.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
