QA Engineer
Lead assembly, integration, and test activities for satellite communication systems, driving hardware validation, RF testing, and EGSE development using C++, Python, and MATLAB in a cross‑functional aerospace environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute assembly, integration, and test (AIT) procedures for satellite communication payloads and subsystems.
- Develop and maintain Electronic Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) hardware and software, ensuring compliance with mission requirements.
- Perform RF characterization, signal integrity, and functional testing using spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and custom test rigs.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (mechanical, thermal, software) to resolve integration issues and improve test processes.
- Generate test documentation, reports, and data analyses, providing clear recommendations for design improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of AIT experience in space or aerospace projects.
- Proficiency in C++, Python, and MATLAB for test automation and data analysis.
- Hands‑on experience with RF test equipment, signal generators, and EGSE development.
- Strong understanding of spacecraft integration, verification standards, and hardware validation workflows.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and documentation skills in a fast‑paced, multidisciplinary environment.
