About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the technical architecture for Compliance Risk Technology, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and business strategy.
- Lead modernization initiatives across Employee Compliance, Regulatory Compliance, and Surveillance platforms, adopting cloud (AWS), microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design scalable, secure, and resilient solutions, integrating CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
- Provide architectural guidance and mentorship to development, security, and operations teams, fostering best practices and continuous improvement.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption to enhance compliance monitoring, data analytics, and risk management capabilities.
Requirements
- 10+ years of enterprise architecture experience in financial services, with a focus on compliance and risk technology.
- Deep expertise in AWS services, microservices design, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tooling.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks (e.g., OCC, FINRA, GDPR) and their impact on technology architecture.
- Proven ability to lead large‑scale modernization projects and influence senior stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
