About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full research lifecycle from scientific discovery to scalable deployment of robotic solutions.
- Design and implement cutting‑edge machine learning and reinforcement learning algorithms for perception, planning, and control.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to integrate models into production pipelines on AWS.
- Mentor a team of data scientists and engineers, setting technical direction and fostering a culture of experimentation.
- Lead cross‑functional initiatives to translate research insights into commercial products and operational improvements.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 10+ years of industry experience.
- Deep expertise in Python, deep learning frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow), and reinforcement learning.
- Proven track record of publishing high‑impact research and delivering production‑ready robotic systems.
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders across technical and non‑technical domains.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and large‑scale data pipelines is a plus.
