About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop scalable data processing pipelines using Python and Java on AWS and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
- Design and maintain the Rules Execution Service, ensuring high availability and compliance with federal regulations.
- Lead the implementation of AI/ML models for health analytics, integrating them into the Health AI Data Platform.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support Federal VA initiatives, disaster recovery, and new OCI regional builds.
- Drive continuous improvement of data ingestion, transformation, and governance processes.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience in large‑scale data platforms.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, and cloud services (AWS, OCI).
- Strong background in machine learning, data engineering, and rules‑engine design.
- Experience with healthcare data standards and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a track record of mentoring teams.
