ML Engineer
Lead the design and deployment of advanced AI/ML solutions, driving research, model development, and production pipelines using Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and cloud services such as AWS.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement end‑to‑end machine learning pipelines, from data ingestion to model serving, for clinical and research applications.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of data scientists and engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering best practices in model development and validation.
- Design, train, and optimize deep learning models using TensorFlow and PyTorch, ensuring high performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with clinicians and researchers to translate domain problems into AI solutions, delivering actionable insights and decision support tools.
- Deploy and monitor models in cloud environments (AWS), leveraging containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) for reliable production workloads.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with a strong track record of delivering production‑grade models.
- Expertise in Python and major deep‑learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Proven experience building and scaling ML pipelines on AWS, including services like SageMaker, EC2, and S3.
- Solid understanding of software engineering practices, including containerization (Docker), CI/CD, and version control.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with clinical stakeholders to define and solve healthcare problems.
