Senior, customer‑facing AI engineer who translates semiconductor design workflows into measurable productivity gains using flagship large language models and agentic solutions across end‑to‑end silicon design flows.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with strategic semiconductor customers to understand their design challenges and define AI‑driven solutions.
- Operationalize flagship LLMs and agentic tools within front‑end, physical‑design, and methodology workflows to deliver tangible productivity improvements.
- Lead technical workshops, demos, and proof‑of‑concepts that showcase AI impact on silicon design cycles.
- Collaborate with research, product, and engineering teams to refine AI models and integrate them into Cadence’s design tools.
- Provide expert guidance on best practices for AI model deployment, data pipelines, and performance monitoring in a production environment.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in semiconductor design, with deep knowledge of front‑end, physical‑design, and methodology processes.
- Proven track record of applying AI/ML, especially large language models, to solve complex engineering problems.
- Strong customer‑facing communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
- Experience with AI model deployment, data engineering, and performance optimization in a production setting.
- Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
