AI Architect
Slalom is seeking a Principal AI Architect with a strong background in machine learning, data science, and applied AI. The role involves building AI-driven automation using Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio, and other Microsoft ecosystem tools, as well as preparing datasets and constructing ML pipelines. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant work experience and strong programming skills in Python.

Responsibilities
- Strong background in machine learning, data science, and applied AI.
- Proficiency with Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio, and Microsoft ecosystem tools.
- Experience building chatbots, copilots, or similar AI-driven automation.
- Solid programming skills with Python.
- Knowledge of MCP (Model Context Protocol) is a plus.
- Experience preparing datasets and building ML pipelines.
- Familiarity with product development lifecycles and agile delivery practices.
- Security-conscious mindset with knowledge of data protection best practices, especially when working with sensitive or regulated data.
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to translate business needs into AI solutions.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work across technical and non-technical teams.
- Ability to explain complex AI concepts simply to stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field along with at least 5 years of related work experience.
