About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the strategic vision for the Systems Engineering & Safety Assurance practice, aligning services with market demand and client needs.
- Lead cross‑functional teams in the design, implementation, and delivery of complex engineering solutions, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Drive business development, including proposal creation, client engagement, and partnership cultivation to expand the practice’s footprint.
- Mentor and develop senior engineers and managers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, technical excellence, and professional growth.
- Oversee project governance, risk management, and performance metrics to ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery and client satisfaction.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive experience in systems engineering, safety assurance, or engineering management within large infrastructure or construction environments.
- Proven track record of leading multidisciplinary teams and managing multi‑million dollar projects.
- Strong knowledge of safety standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001), quality systems (ISO 9001), and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and business development skills.
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field preferred.
