Systems Engineer
Lead design, integration, and troubleshooting of power and IC lighting systems for naval vessels, ensuring compliance with stringent marine standards and optimizing performance across complex electrical architectures.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, and validate power and IC lighting circuits for amphibious ships, destroyers, and cutters.
- Develop PCB layouts, perform signal integrity analysis, and ensure compliance with naval electrical standards.
- Collaborate with systems, propulsion, and mission‑critical teams to integrate lighting solutions into vessel architectures.
- Lead troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis of lighting failures in field and test environments.
- Prepare technical documentation, test plans, and certification reports for regulatory approval.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in power electronics and PCB design for marine or aerospace applications.
- Proficiency with CAD tools (Altium, OrCAD) and signal‑integrity simulation.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, mission‑critical environment.
- U.S. citizenship required; willingness to travel 25–50% of the time.
