About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed electrical power system models for commercial, industrial, institutional, and utility‑related facilities.
- Conduct short‑circuit, protective device coordination, and arc‑flash hazard analyses using industry‑standard software.
- Gather, validate, and integrate field data to ensure model accuracy and reliability.
- Evaluate equipment ratings, protective schemes, and code requirements to recommend optimal solutions.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports and present findings to clients, field technicians, and design teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in power system studies, including short‑circuit and arc‑flash analysis.
- Strong knowledge of NEC, IEEE, and local code requirements.
- Proficiency with power system analysis software (e.g., ETAP, PowerFactory).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
