About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive power system studies (load flow, short‑circuit, harmonic, and protective device coordination) for hyperscale data‑center and high‑performance building projects.
- Develop and validate models in ETAP, SKM Power Tools, and PowerWorld, ensuring compliance with IEEE and NEC standards.
- Automate analysis workflows and data processing using Python and MATLAB to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Prepare clear technical reports, design recommendations, and presentation materials for internal teams and client stakeholders.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineers to integrate power system solutions with mechanical, civil, and IT infrastructure designs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience in power system studies for large‑scale facilities.
- Proficiency in ETAP, SKM Power Tools, and PowerWorld simulation platforms.
- Strong scripting skills in Python or MATLAB for custom analysis and data manipulation.
- In‑depth knowledge of IEEE, NEC, and industry best practices for power distribution and protection.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
