About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop high‑performance power electronic circuits and systems for marine, aerospace, and defence applications.
- Create detailed models and run simulations using MATLAB, Simulink, and LTSpice to validate performance and reliability.
- Develop motor drive, inverter, and converter solutions, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams to integrate power management systems into larger platforms.
- Produce technical documentation, schematics, and test reports to support design reviews and certification processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or related field.
- Proven experience with MATLAB, Simulink, and LTSpice for system modelling and simulation.
- Strong knowledge of power electronics components, motor drives, inverters, converters, and power management architectures.
- Hands‑on experience designing for marine, aerospace, or defence environments is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a contract setting.
