About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed power flow and contingency studies to support system reliability and planning.
- Develop and maintain load forecasting models to predict demand trends and inform operational decisions.
- Analyze SCADA data to identify system performance issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate reliability assessment findings into market and operational strategies.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations for senior management and regulatory stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in power system analysis, including load forecasting and power flow studies.
- Proficiency with SCADA platforms, MATLAB/Simulink, and Python for data analysis and modeling.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills and experience presenting technical findings to non‑technical audiences.
