Software Engineer
Develop modern, user‑friendly solutions on Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint, transforming legacy Excel/Access processes into automated, data‑driven applications for a Naval engineering support team.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy Power Apps and Power Automate workflows to replace legacy Excel and Access solutions.
- Integrate SharePoint sites and lists as data sources and collaboration hubs for end‑users.
- Create interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to visualize mission‑critical data.
- Develop custom JavaScript/REST API components to extend platform functionality where needed.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct user testing, and provide training and documentation.
Requirements
- Proven experience developing solutions with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
- Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online/On‑Premises architecture and customization.
- Hands‑on experience with JavaScript, REST APIs, and data integration techniques.
- Ability to translate business processes into automated, scalable solutions.
- Security clearance eligibility (Secret) and willingness to travel up to 10% within the continental US.
