Embedded Systems Engineer
Design and deliver high‑efficiency rack power solutions, including AC/DC and DC/DC converters, for large‑scale data center infrastructure, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to optimize performance and reliability.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and prototype rack‑level power architectures, covering in‑rack AC‑DC and DC‑DC conversion.
- Create detailed schematics, PCB layouts, and bill‑of‑materials for power modules.
- Perform electrical analysis, simulation, and thermal modeling to ensure efficiency and reliability.
- Validate hardware through lab testing, characterization, and compliance verification.
- Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, and data‑center deployment teams to integrate power solutions into large‑scale systems.
- Stay current with emerging power‑electronics technologies and industry standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical Engineering or related field with hands‑on experience in power‑electronics design.
- Proficiency in analog and digital circuit design, including DC‑DC and AC‑DC converters.
- Strong skills in PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium, Cadence) and simulation software (e.g., SPICE, PLECS).
- Experience with hardware validation, testing, and debugging of high‑power systems.
- Ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
