About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and simulate power conversion topologies using MATLAB/Simulink and SPICE tools.
- Develop PCB layouts and prototype boards for experimental validation.
- Write and debug embedded C firmware for control and monitoring of power modules.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to integrate new technologies into research projects.
- Document design decisions, test results, and performance metrics for internal reporting.
Requirements
- Current enrollment in Electrical Engineering or related field, preferably with coursework in power electronics.
- Experience with MATLAB/Simulink and SPICE simulation.
- Basic knowledge of PCB design tools (e.g., Altium, KiCad).
- Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
