Software Engineer
Design and model mission‑critical power systems, focusing on DC distribution, converter topologies (AC/DC, DC/DC, DC/AC) and protection schemes for high‑availability facilities.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and validate system‑level models for DC power distribution networks in mission‑critical environments.
- Design, simulate, and optimize AC/DC, DC/DC, and DC/AC power converters to meet performance and reliability targets.
- Implement protection strategies and dynamic response analyses for steady‑state and transient scenarios.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate power electronics solutions into facility designs and construction plans.
- Document design decisions, generate technical specifications, and support testing and commissioning activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related field with at least 5 years of experience in mission‑critical facility design.
- Proven expertise in DC power distribution design and power converter development (AC/DC, DC/DC, DC/AC).
- Strong background in protection measures, dynamic scenario analysis, and system modeling tools.
- Ability to work independently and lead technical discussions across hardware, software, and infrastructure teams.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or advanced degree is a plus.
