Data Engineer
Design and maintain scalable data pipelines and BI solutions using Power BI, Databricks, and Azure services, enabling data‑driven decision making across analytics and business teams.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and integration workflows in a Power BI and Databricks environment.
- Build, optimize, and support interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models for business users.
- Implement ETL processes using Azure Data Factory, SQL, and Python to ingest, transform, and load data from diverse sources.
- Collaborate with analytics, business, and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve performance of data pipelines and BI infrastructure to ensure reliability and efficiency.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Power BI development, data modeling, and DAX.
- Hands‑on expertise in Databricks, Spark, and Azure data services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse).
- Proficiency in SQL and a scripting language such as Python for data transformation.
- Solid understanding of ETL best practices, data warehousing concepts, and performance tuning.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally with business and technical teams.
