Lead the design, integration, and testing of advanced Position, Navigation, and Timing systems, driving standardized PNT test processes and managing high‑visibility projects for the Long‑Range Kill Chain initiative.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and integration of the Time, Space, Position Information (TSPI) reference system for the 746th Test Squadron.
- Establish and standardize PNT Test & Evaluation (T&E) processes, ensuring compliance with NAVWAR requirements.
- Mentor and guide cross‑functional teams, fostering technical excellence and knowledge sharing.
- Manage high‑visibility projects under the Long‑Range Kill Chain (LRKC) initiative, coordinating schedules, resources, and deliverables.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define system requirements, performance metrics, and validation plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in PNT systems development, integration, and testing.
- Proficiency with GNSS technologies, time synchronization, and space‑based navigation concepts.
- Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering complex engineering projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities, capable of mentoring junior engineers and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
