About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and document PLSS test plans in compliance with NASA and industry standards.
- Analyze test data to identify performance issues, recommend corrective actions, and validate system integrity.
- Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve technical challenges and improve test methodologies.
- Prepare detailed test reports, technical briefs, and risk assessments for stakeholders.
- Support project management activities, including schedule tracking, resource allocation, and milestone reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (or related field).
- 3+ years of experience in test engineering for life support or spaceflight systems.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., MATLAB, Excel).
- Excellent written and verbal communication, capable of producing clear technical documentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary, high‑stakes environment.
