Data Analyst in a PMO environment driving insights for large-scale rail infrastructure projects using SQL, Excel, and Power BI to support decision‑making and project performance tracking.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze project data to produce actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain dashboards in Power BI that track key performance indicators across multiple rail projects.
- Collaborate with project managers to define data requirements and ensure accurate reporting.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing findings, trends, and recommendations.
- Support data governance initiatives, ensuring data quality, consistency, and compliance with internal standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in data analysis, preferably in a PMO or infrastructure context.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel, and Power BI for data extraction and visualization.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, concise narratives.
- Experience with project management tools and understanding of project lifecycle.
- Detail‑oriented mindset and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
