Implementation Engineer
Design and implement integration solutions between PLM systems and battery energy storage platforms, using Teamcenter, Python, REST APIs, and Java to enable seamless data flow and support Ford Energy’s grid‑scale projects.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain integration pipelines between Siemens Teamcenter PLM and internal BESS engineering tools.
- Design RESTful services and XML data mappings to synchronize product, BOM, and change‑management data.
- Write automation scripts in Python and Java to support data validation, migration, and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering, manufacturing, and IT teams in an Agile environment to define integration requirements and deliver incremental improvements.
- Implement CI/CD practices for integration code, ensuring reliable deployments and version control.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience integrating PLM systems (Teamcenter preferred) with enterprise applications.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, REST API design, and XML/JSON data formats.
- Hands‑on experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar).
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to translate engineering data models into robust integration solutions.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and communicating technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
